King of Bling; Horrible Histories Stylee

At the end of May I wrote a post about the marvellous Terry Deary books, Horrible Histories, and their wonderful CBBC TV spin off. The new series did not disappoint, with clear hard work and effort being devoted to their songs. I was especially pleased that more air time was given to the Slimy Stuarts, in particular, those that relate to the Civil War era (there’s a shock!).

So, courtesy of jamie932 at Youtube, I have decided to share my favourite song of the series, rapped to you by none other that the Merry Monarch himself, Charles II. But when watched, bob over to the Horrible Histories site to have a play, by clicking HERE.

I have to mention though, George IV: Couldn’t Stand My Wife, is fabulous also and Steve’s favourite, Literally: The Viking Song, is quite brilliant! In fact, I’ll make it easy for you – click below for Viking soft rock! Enjoy!
